Kernco Salt Refractometers - Six (6) Models Offered

Salt refractometers are useful for controlling the salt level of brine solutions, measuring concentrations of salt water used in rinsing and cooking sea products, and checking salt content of holding tanks, aquariums and breeding ponds. Extremely useful in canning and preparation of food products by monitoring the salt content. The narrow range models with magnified scales make high precision measurements possible.

Model S100 measure salinity of saline solutions and seawater density. Model S100 measures 0-100 PPT and specific gravity of 1.000 to 1.070. Model ATC-S100 is the same as the S100 except it has automatic temperature compensation (ATC). Models SC10 and SC28 are generally used in brines, food and canning operations. Models S100 and ATC-S100 monitor density and quality of seawater, which relates directly to the behavior and life support of marine animals and plants.
