Kernco Model 2WA Inexpensive Abbe Refractometer
The Model 2WA Abbe Refractometer is compact, lightweight and inexpensive. It is suitable for use in various industries for basic research work and quality control of manufactured and processed goods. This versatile unit measures Brix (sugar) content in aqueous solutions from 0-95% and refractive index from 1.3000 to 1.7000. The Model 2WA requires no AC light source; it uses natural white light and readings can be performed either by transmitting light through the sample or reflected on it through a mirror reflector. This high quality, self-contained instrument is ideal for the budget conscious user who does not require a light source transformer. Operating temperature 0-70°C.
