The Model 630 is very similar to the Model 600 above, but measures only
atmospheric oxygen using a unique galvanic electrode which has a life expectancy of 3-5
years at a standard temperature of 25° C, standard pressure of 1 atmosphere, and at a
20.9% concentration of atmospheric oxygen. This electrode is not affected by hydrogen
sulfide (H2S) or carbon dioxide (CO2). The electrode does not
require any maintenance - no membrane changes or filling solution replacements. Standard
cable length of probe is 5'; additional lengths of up to 100' may be custom ordered. The
instrument is easy to use; calibration is simply and fast - just attach the electrode to
the meter and use the provided screwdriver to adjust the meter to display 20.9% with
electrode in air. The screwdriver adjustment ensures calibration will not accidentally be
changed. The LCD display shows "BAT" when battery is below 7.5 volts. For
continuous monitoring, an optional jack and AC adapter may be ordered at time of purchase.
The optional recorder output (0-200 mV) must also be ordered at time of purchase.
