The Model 600 measures both dissolved oxygen in aqueous solutions and oxygen concentrations in atmospheric environments. The instrument is easy to use and calibrate; simply adjust the calibrate control until meter reads 20.9% when the electrode is in the air. The galvanic electrode requires no maintenance - no membranes or filling solutions to replace. Electrode has a 12 month life under normal circumstances; this can be extended with the optional oxygen-free soaker chamber for storing the electrode (Oxan Extender Kit). The electrode is manufactured with a gold cathode which will not be poisoned by H₂S, Cl_2, and SO₂ ,CO₂ will not neutralize the electrode's electrolyte. For continuous monitoring, an optional jack and AC adapter may be ordered at time of purchase. An optional 0-200 mV recorder output with 2.5mm jack is also available; order at time of purchase. Electrode is supplied with 5' cable; lengths up to 100' may be ordered. Price includes meter, electrode with 5' cable, rugged carrying case, battery and instruction manual.
