Atago Salt Refractometers

Salt refractometers are useful for controlling the salt level of brine solutions, measuring concentrations of salt water used in rinsing and cooking sea products, and checking salt content of holding tanks, aquariums and breeding ponds.  Extremely useful in canning and preparation of food products by monitoring the salt content.  The narrow range models with magnified scales make high precision measurements possible.  Model ATC S/Mill-E measures salinity of saline solutions and seawater density.  Model S/Mill measures 0-100 ppt and specific gravity of 1.000 to 1.070.  Model ATC S/Mill-E is the same as the S/Mill-E except it has automatic temperature compensation (ATC).  Models S-10E and S28E are generally used in brines, food and canning operations.  Model S/Mill-E and ATC S/Mill-E monitor density and quality of seawater, which relates directly to the behavior and life support of marine animals and plants.  Price includes temperature compensation chart, carrying case and manual.
