RESETABLE PIECE COUNTER, AND TIME DELAY. This specially-designed device records electrically, through one, two or three stylus, the complete picture of running and down time on any machine. It tells you exactly when you produce, when you don't and through the write-in window, the reasons for stoppage can be written on the chart (see illustration below).

Operation: The Event Recorder is connected to your machine so it can differentiate between "productive" and "down" time. If the machine runs only when actually "productive", wire it through the starting switch. If the machine runs continuously, use a limit switch at an appropriate place (should you want more information on connections, contact us, mentioning the type and make of machine involved).

Specifications: The Event Recorder is a package unit. It comes with its own power line and a load cord(s) to connect to your equipment. All leads extend through strain-relief bushings; cannot be "accidentally" disconnected.

Installation: Plug power line into receptacle (110V or 220V as indicated on nameplate). This line must feed current to the Recorder uninterruptedly. Connect "load" (machine) cord into your equipment or limit switch, depending upon method of connection. The Recorder will now begin charting, on the disc, the operational record. (Need more specific information? Send for connection bulletin). Also 12 or 24VDC available.

Reading: Charts are divided into minutes and hours. The stylus draws a continuous line, "outside" for production, "inside" for down-time. (See charts illustration). This continuous line provides one distinct advantage. Even a momentary interruption is indicated by a "zig". If this "zig" represents only a second or so, you can't measure it but you know a brief interruption occurred.

The two and three stylus models draw concentric lines, on one chart, for 2 or 3 machines (or 2 or 3 functions on one machine) or generally, to record actually machine running time versus "productive" and "down" time.

Recording Periods: Three chart speeds are available - 8 hour, 12 hour, and 24 hour. Charts are not included with the instrument. Specify recording time when placing order, and order appropriate charts, see below for chart information and prices.

Power Supply:

Available for 120VAC 60 Hz, and 220VAC 60 Hz (included in price).  If required, we can supply with 12VDC or 24VDC - see price below. On special order, we can supply power supplies of 120VAC 50 Hz or 220VAC 50 Hz.  Delivery and prices will be advised on special ordered power supplies.

Optional Features: Low Voltage - The Event Recorder can be equipped to accept a low voltage impulse. Additional cost based on voltage modifications needed; contact Kernco for cost.

Totalizer - registers accumulative productive time. Actually a built-in running time-meter for total productive time. Double stylus models have 2 totalizers, one for each stylus. Will go up to 100,000 hours, then resets automatically.  $95.00 for each totalizer.

Resettable Piece Counter - add $130.00 to price.  Will count up to 100,000 pieces, then resets automatically.

Built-in Time Delay - 0 to 60 sec. standard; 0 to 5 minutes available upon request. Add $135.00 to price on the 0-60 sec. model, and $185.00 on the 0-5 minutes model.
