Poor balance, misalignment and looseness of the structure will cause the vibration level to increase - a sure sign that maintenance is needed. The VIB11 meets international standards (BS 4675, ISO 2372 and others) which recommend measurement of vibration in inches per second RMS velocity as the most practical for industrial applications.

  They also define vibration limits for different types of equipment, which simplifies condition assessment. By comparing the measured vibration severity with the norm for the machine class, it is possible to judge the conditions in terms of good, acceptable or bad. Regular readings will also show the development trend of the vibration level and thus the urgency of the maintenance problem. The VIB11 is compact, rugged and easy to use, requiring minimal training; simply attach the transducer to the machine and press the button. The RMS value of vibration velocity is displayed directly on the large, red LED display. The included TRV-01 transducer is a piezo-electric accelerometer; it is small, light and durable. The TRV-01 is normally attached with a magnet, which eliminates special preparation of the measuring point; however, it can be permanently fastened with a bolt through its center hole or be utilized with a handheld probe. The VIB11 features automatic switch-off, automatic ranging and a shock-absorbing, oil resistive protective sleeve. Price includes transducer, magnetic base, 5 ft cable, hand-held probe, follow-up forms, fitted carrying case, batteries and manual.

MG4-1 MEASURING UNIT

 MG4-1 is a stand-alone measuring unit for continuous monitoring of machine vibration on one channel.  It measures vibration severity (true RMS value of vibration velocity) according to ISO 10816 (in/sec RMS). 

MG4-1 provides:   Two programmable alarm levels and status display (green-yellow-red light) ·      Display of measured value with continuous updates ·       Analog output 4-20mA with programmable range ·       Relays 250 V (1) and 125 V (2) with programmable alarm levels

MG4-1 has an IP65 polyester enclosure for wall mounting.  It can be supplied with mains power or be connected to a PLC.   Measuring time, alarm levels, alarm delay and the channel/relay combinations are programmed, using the push buttons on the front panel.
