Atago's clinical refractometers are designed for quick determination of serum protein, urine specific gravity, and refractive index in laboratory and nursing environments.  Accurate measurements of total serum protein and urine specific gravity can be obtained easily and quickly with only a few drops of solution.  The refractive index scale allows for measurements of dissolved solids in other solutions, such as medicine for injections, chemical reagents and secretions; also provides detection of drug tampering. Price includes instrument, soft vinyl carrying case and manual.
